01 · About

A writer who knows where the stories are buried.

Laurel Ellis is a screenwriter working in supernatural horror and drama, across feature films and television. Her stories move through ghosts, witches and the quiet places people try to forget.

Away from the page, she is a single mother and a cemetery restorer. That work keeps her close to weathered stone, old records and the histories behind them, and it shapes everything she writes.

Meet Laurel

The stories we carry from the dark.

Laurel writes horror the way she restores old stones: patiently, by hand, paying attention to what time tried to erase. Her work spans supernatural horror and drama, and she writes for both feature film and television.
